The recent promo for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai shows Armaan initiating a new career as an RJ and abandoning his career as a lawyer. Armaan and Abhira are no longer together.

Pookie, their daughter, has also grown up and lives with her father in Mount Abu. Armaan’s life also involves another woman, Geetanjali. She is close to Maira but not married to Armaan.

In addition, Kaveri and Vidya are also questioning Abhira about Armaan. Kaveri asks Abhira if she is still waiting for Armaan to come back. She states that she should have moved on and that Armaan isn’t coming back. Abhira becomes emotional.
