Virat Kohli’s Fans Chased Rahul Vaidya Online, BB 14 Star Shares His Funny Ordeal
Rahul Vaidya found himself in hot water with Virat Kohli’s die-hard fans after a harmless tweet about the cricketer’s performance.
In a world where celebrities are constantly under the spotlight, a single comment can suddenly escalate into a full-on social media frenzy.
And the star caught in the whirlwind was none other than singer and Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya, for expressing an opinion about the king of cricket, Virat Kohli, something his dedicated fan base took issue with.
It all started innocently. Rahul was simply sharing his view on social media, as he often does, during a match when Kohli was not performing well. Like every other cricket-loving Indian, Rahul tweeted something to the effect of “Kohli is going to have to play better.”
That one line was enough to wake up an army, no, a tsunami of Virat Kohli fans!
Before you knew it, Rahul’s social media was all sorts of angry comments, memes, and even some very creative (and scary) threats. “People were treating me like I broke into Virat’s house and stole his bat!” Rahul laughed in an interview, shaking his head. “I love Kohli too, but bhai, I just said what a lot of people were thinking!”
He said his DMs looked like a warzone. “Fans were calling me by names I had to Google to understand,” he laughed. I said he had a bad match, not that he can’t play cricket!”
The Bigg Boss star, known for his sense of humor and strong opinions, said this wasn’t his first online drama, but the wildest. “I thought the Bigg Boss house was hectic, but fan clubs are a whole different level!” he joked.
Despite all this madness, Rahul is not holding any grudges. He thought the entire episode was simply funny. “I respect the passion. It’s nice to see fans so devoted – I just wish they’d keep my poor timeline safe next time!”
